Victorian Overpiece.
Since I started working at a vintage boutique I get first dibs on the coolest things and one my finds just so happens to be a Vintage Victorian High Collared Lace Sparkle and Fringe Embroidered Mantle Overpiece from the 1800's which im in LOVE with.
Such a beautiful masterpiece and I am definitely inspired !!

Haute Versace + Dior
Donatella Versace decided to do a presentation for the first time in over 8 years of couture pieces of Atelier Versace with 15 looks for Paris Fashion Week s/s 2012-2013. I am personally in love with the garments, makeup, hair right down to the shoes. Everything has a modern futuristic feel to it.

Christian Dior also did a haute couture show with a classic old hollywood feel with around 40 looks and I, ofcourse, LOVE the vintage appeal of the pieces and the makeup was very understated, rightfully so, the colors and the construction. The garments of Haute Dior Couture was seen on Charlize Theron for this years golden globes and named one of the best dressed for the event. My favorite part was probably the pop of red gown toward the end of the show!
These two lines are my favorites thus far of Paris Fashion Week! Stay Tuned!!
