Spring/Summer 2012 runways last year showcased a trend that was in nearly every show! PLEATS!

This trend showed up in runway shows from Burberry, Chloe, Prada and Elie Saab as well. The vintage look from the 50's is here and back in action. The trend has a bit of a feminine touch on skirts, dresses and handbags as well. Spring hasn't even started and I am starting to see pleats everywhere from boutiques, blogs, fashion shows. You can go short, midi or a longer length while turning any look to feminine, classy, and elegant with this trend!

Her spread was shot by Christopher Logan and styled by celebrity stylist Derek Warburton. In the photo shoot she channels her style icon Bianca Jagger.  The magazine rarely features Black models kudos to Jessica breaking major boundaries.
